SMS Terms and Conditions

Wellness Counseling LLC

Effective date: September 25, 2026

Program and message types

By giving the required consent to receive texts from Wellness Counseling LLC, you agree to receive the message types described when you opt in. Our administrative texting program may include appointment reminders, scheduling updates, office notices, and responses to questions you send us. Texting is for administrative communication, not therapy or emergency care.

These terms do not enroll you in marketing, merchandise promotions, fundraising, or other promotional campaigns. Those messages require a separate appropriate opt-in. Providing a telephone number alone does not enroll you in ongoing texts.

Optional participation, frequency, and cost

Texting is optional. Your consent is not a condition of purchasing anything or receiving counseling services. You may contact our office by telephone instead. Message frequency varies according to your appointments and communications. Message and data rates may apply under your wireless plan; contact your carrier with questions about those charges.

Stop messages or get help

To stop text messages, reply STOP. You may receive a one-time confirmation, and further program messages will stop unless you later provide appropriate new consent. We also honor other clear requests to stop texting. Opting out of texts does not cancel an appointment or end your care; contact our office separately about scheduling.

For help, reply HELP, call (734) 778-0663, or email [email protected]. Please notify us if you change or stop using the telephone number you provided. You must be the subscriber or authorized user of the number for which you give consent.

Privacy and message delivery

Please review our Website Privacy Policy for information about how we handle website and SMS information, and our Notice of Privacy Practices for medical-record privacy. We do not sell or share your mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. SMS consent is not permission for another business to message you.

Ordinary text messages may not be encrypted end to end and may appear on a device’s lock screen or be accessible to others. Do not text clinical details, insurance-card images, or payment information. Ask our office about a secure communication method. Messages may be delayed or fail to arrive because of carrier or technical conditions. Do not rely on a text message as your only record of an appointment. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Not for emergencies

Text messages are not monitored continuously. For an immediate emergency, call 911. In the United States, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Do not use our text line to request urgent or emergency assistance.

Updates

We may update these terms and will obtain any new consent required for a material change in message use. Wellness Counseling LLC: (734) 778-0663; [email protected].
